  1. Easy install, added sounds not all they're cracked up to be. 3 Star Review

Posted by on 9th May 2016

The siren itself comes with the aluminum housed siren/controller and a PA microphone with 15' of cord. No other wiring is included so plan on having your own wiring to do the install. As long as you have wire, the install is a cinch.

I bought the 4200 mini controller to make the install even easier (again you just have to have wire to get everything hooked together).

The only thing I would have done differently (on Feniex's part) is make the mounting tabs, on the bottom of the siren box, movable so I could have the mounting tabs where I needed them for my mounting location to best suit the wiring harness I used.

The only disappointment... the Ecto and Bad Boys sounds are not loud. The regular siren tones are very loud; however, the added Ecto and Bad Boys sounds don't play as loud through the speaker. If you plan to buy this to use the Ecto as a real siren tone, it won't be loud enough to do so. The voices are "neat" but I really can't see where I would use those in a traffic stop where I couldn't just talk into the PA mic myself. But they may work for someone.
