It includes a small metal fixture that attaches to the existing microphone button, and a magnetic base that mounts to the dash, console or anywhere you might want to mount the microphone. The scew holes may align with your existing microphone clip, or you can drill new holes as needed using the included tiemplate. 

Using the Magnetic Mic kit is simple. Simply grab the microphone and pull it away from the base and use as you normally would.
